Who we are
FeniTravels runs the travel search site fenitravels.com. You can contact us about privacy at contact@fenitravels.com.
What we collect
- Account details, if you create an account: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and your password (stored only in a scrambled form we can’t read).
- Your searches: where and when you want to travel and how many travellers, so we can show results.
- Chat messages you send to our assistant or team, so we can answer you. If a message contains a card or passport number, we hide it automatically.
- Visits to partners: when you continue to a partner site, we record which route or city and the date, without your name or contact details.
- Technical information such as your IP address and browser type, kept in our server logs for security and to fix problems.
What we don’t collect
We don’t take payments, so we never see or store your card details. You pay on our partners’ sites.
How we use your information
- To show search results and send you to the partner you choose.
- To answer your questions and messages.
- To keep the site secure and prevent misuse.
- To understand which routes and features people use, so we can improve the site.
Who we share it with
- Travel partners: when you click to continue, your search details (such as cities, dates and number of travellers) are passed to the partner so their site opens with your search. From then on, the partner’s own privacy policy applies.
- Service providers who run the site for us: our hosting provider (servers), Cloudflare (domain, email forwarding and security) and, when our assistant uses an AI service to write replies, that AI provider, which receives the chat messages.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
We don’t sell your personal information.
Cookies and browser storage
We use only what the site needs to work: a cookie that remembers your language, and browser storage that keeps you signed in. We don’t use advertising cookies. Partner sites may use their own cookies, for example to record that you came from FeniTravels.
How long we keep it
- Account details: until you ask us to delete your account.
- Chat messages: up to 12 months.
- Server logs: a short period, usually a few weeks.
- Backups: up to 14 days.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and data. Email contact@fenitravels.com from the address on your account. Where data protection laws give you further rights, such as Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law, we respect them.
Security
The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords are stored scrambled, and only authorised team members can see customer messages. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password that you don’t use elsewhere.
Children
You must be 18 or older to create an account. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
